The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
